Nearly a third of black voters would cast that ballot for President Donald Trump "if the presidential election was held today," a new survey reported.
According to Rasmussen, that's exactly 31% of black voters on Thursday, an uptick from 27% on Monday. The polling organization predicted the result of the 2016 presidential election.
A CNN poll also shows Trump has 24% support from non-white voters.
Rasmussen's White House Watch poll shows Democratic nominee Joe Biden with a one-point lead over Trump with likely voters of all racial groups. That poll was also released on Thursday.
A Hill-Harris poll conducted after the Republican National Convention showed Trump with a 24% edge among Black voters and 32% among Latino voters.
The Rasmussen poll, conducted Oct. 26 to Oct. 28, surveyed 1,500 people with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points. Trump had an identical lead ahead of Biden one day earlier.
