TULSA, Okla., Sept 22 (Reuters) - The white Tulsa police
officer who fatally shot a black man has been charged with
manslaughter and a warrant has been issued for her arrest, the
Tulsa County District Attorney said on Thursday.
Officer Betty Shelby was charged with first degree
manslaughter for the death of Terence Crutcher, 40. The incident
was captured on a widely broadcast police video and the case is
one in a series that has raised questions of racial bias in U.S.
policing.
