Lawyer and author Alan Dershowitz told
Newsmax TV on Wednesday that he never had sex with the underage girl who now, as an adult, has named him as one of several prominent men who sexually abused her when she was a minor.
Newsmax contributor Dershowitz, appearing on "MidPoint" with host Ed Berliner, also repeated his sharp criticism of the woman's two attorneys, asserting that "they're guilty of basically suborning falsehoods" and that "they are doing it for the money."

The attorneys, former federal judge Paul Cassell and Florida plaintiffs lawyer Bradley Edwards, sued Dershowitz for defamation on Tuesday in Florida after Dershowitz
issued an affidavit accusing them of "bad faith" in representing a "serial liar."
Identified in court papers as Jane Doe No. 3, the woman has said through her attorneys that she was forced as a minor by Palm Beach financier Jeffrey Epstein to have sex with several people, among them Dershowitz and Britain's Prince Andrew.
Epstein has pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor for prostitution. Dershowitz represented Epstein and visited him on various occasions, but he categorically denied any sexual contact with his accuser.
Dershowitz told Berliner that he welcomes the defamation lawsuit "because finally I have an opportunity to cross-examine my false accusers and to prove that this woman made up the whole story and that her lawyers work with her and contrive with her."
"Her lawyers are unprofessional and ought to be disbarred," said Dershowitz. "At the end of the day, they will rue the day that they picked on this wronged, innocent victim because I will prove not only that I couldn’t have done it but that I am completely innocent."
Asked why Cassell and Edwards would tangle with him, Dershowitz said, "Don't ever underestimate the stupidity of greedy lawyers.'
