Donald Trump has a long-established habit of hurling insults at his competitors and detractors, and now Marco Rubio has joined in the fray as voters take to the polls on Super Tuesday.

"I very rarely try to attack other Republicans," Rubio said at a Saturday rally, The Wall Street Journal reported. "[However] we’ve come to a point now where we have no choice but to point out some of these differences . . . We cannot allow the conservative movement to be taken away from us."

"You cannot have a policy debate with someone with no policies," he reasoned during another speech.

Gathered below are 15 insults Rubio and Trump have traded during the race to the Republican nomination.

1. Watch-seller Trump — During Thursday's GOP debate, Trump said that Rubio took a loss on a house he bought. "He's the guy that inherited $200 million," Rubio shot back. "If he hadn't inherited $200 million you know where Donald Trump might be right now? Selling watches in Manhattan." The Hill reported that Rubio started selling broken watches on his campaign website the very same night.

2. Con artist — "We’re on the verge of having someone take over the conservative movement and the Republican Party who is a con artist," Rubio said during an interview the morning after the debate, The Financial Times reported. "His target audience is working Americans who are really struggling over the past few years in this economy. But he has spent a career sticking it to working Americans," he continued, alluding to lawsuits filed against Trump University.

3. Mr. Meltdown
— "Lightweight Marco Rubio was working hard last night," Trump tweeted on Friday morning, the day after the GOP debate. "The problem is, he is a choker, and once a choker, always a choker! Mr. Meltdown."

4. Sweat mustache — "He called me Mr. Meltdown," Rubio told a crowd in Dallas on Friday morning, The New York Times reported. "Let me tell you something: he went backstage, he was having a meltdown." As the crowd roared with laughter, Rubio continued, saying, "he had this little makeup thing . . . like makeup around his mustache, because he had one of those sweat mustaches."

5. "Never Let Them See You Sweat" — On Friday, Donald Trump responded by posting a picture of Rubio having makeup applied by a stagehand. The caption read: "Never Let Them See You Sweat."

6. Spray tan
— After Trump tweeted a picture of Rubio having his makeup applied, Rubio responded, "The guy with the worst spray tan in America is attacking me for putting on makeup." He didn't stop there, however. "Donald Trump likes to sue people," he said. "He should sue whoever did that to his face." On Sunday, Rubio continued the attack, saying Trump's pores were so clogged with spray tanner that he's unable to sweat.

7. Water bottle sweat routine — At his own rally in Texas on Friday, Trump took out a water bottle, held it up, and proclaimed, "It's Rubio!" — likely alluding to the senator's oft-mocked 2013 State of the Union response. According to Mediaite, Trump tossed and spilled water around the stage, mocking Rubio further by perhaps suggesting it represented his buckets of sweat.

8. Trump's wet pants — At his Friday rally, Rubio said that Trump went backstage during one of the debate breaks and asked for a full length mirror. "I don’t know why," he said, noting that the podium covers most of the body. "Maybe to make sure his pants weren’t wet."

9. Lightweight "Little Marco" — "Lightweight choker Marco Rubio looks like a little boy on stage. Not presidential material!" Trump, 69, tweeted Friday.

10. Old Man Trump — "It’s not that I look like a little boy," Rubio, 44, told his Friday audience, after reading off some of Trump's tweets with a smile. "I wouldn’t even be the youngest president. But he would be the oldest president ever elected. And it’s like an eight-year term."

11. Trump can't spell — Rubio pointed out that Trump frequently misspells words like "chocker" and "leightweight" in his tweets. "I only reach two conclusions," Rubio said. "No. 1, that’s how they spell those words at the Wharton School of Business where he went. Or No. 2, just like Trump Tower, he must have hired a foreign worker to do his own tweets."

12. Hair Force One — "You guys wanna have a little fun today?" Rubio asked a crowd on Saturday, The Hill reported. "Last night [Trump] was actually pretty calm after I punched him around a little bit. He’s learning how to spell, I guess. But he’s flying around on Hair Force One and tweeting."

13. "Small Hands" Trump — Rubio continued to take issue with Trump referring to him as "Little Rubio" throughout the weekend, and alleged Trump had his own physical shortcomings, The Washington Post reported. "You know what they say about men with small hands," Rubio said during a Sunday rally, pausing to let people draw their own conclusions. "You can't trust 'em." For many, the joke had an extra punch, as it recalled an old insult about Trump, who was once called a "short-fingered vulgarian" by Spy magazine founder Graydon Carter.

14. Make America Orange — "Donald is not going to make America great, he's going to make America orange," Rubio said Sunday night at a Roanoke College rally in Virginia, CNN reported.

15. Bully — On the eve of Super Tuesday, Rubio told Fox News that Trump is nothing more than a "bully" and added that people like that often need a "taste" of their "own medicine."
