President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un met in Singapore Tuesday in a historic summit that marks the first time leaders from the United States and North Korea have come face-to-face.

The two leaders "got along from the beginning," Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity in an interview that will air Tuesday evening, and the summit went "better than anybody could have expected," Trump said afterwards.

Trump and Kim came together with the U.S. president pledging unspecified "security guarentees" and the North Korean leader recommitting to the "complete denuclearization of the Korea Peninsula," according to The Associated Press.
