Proving that the devil can quote scripture for his own evil purposes, one advocate of forcing Critical Race Theory (CRT) into Utah schools recently tried to justify it with the verse from John 8 that ''The truth shall make you free.''
That’s right: Utah’s independent, fair-minded, and financially solvent Salt Lake Tribune thought blasphemy was the best way to convince Utah parents to submit their children to Marxist brainwashing. The truth will set you free; however, the bigoted propaganda of CRT is not true and its goal is to destroy freedom.
Too impatient to wait until college to indoctrinate people, the far-left has made elementary schools the target of their efforts to ''fundamentally transform'' the United States of America from a free republic to a techno-fascist oligarchy that combines all the worst elements of historical Soviet Russia, a dystopic "1984"-style future, and present-day South Africa. The goal of contaminating schools with this racist propaganda is to demoralize some children, radicalize others, and make slaves of them all.
Truth is the absolute last thing that CRT wants to touch.
The truth, of course, amidst the nonsensical but seductive accusation that the American empire was ''built on slavery and genocide!'' is of course that every human empire has been built on violence, but America was the first one to decide to be nice.
The truth is that Indian-on-Indian slavery existed in the Western hemisphere for centuries before the first Africans were brought here in 1620 — but once they did, some tribes were happy to buy African slaves as well. The overwhelming majority of African slaves were not, in truth, captured by Europeans but bought from other Africans who’d enslaved them, just like what happened to Kunta Kinte on "Roots."
Not only did Africans profit from the slave trade, but so did Arabs from the Trans-Saharan slave trade: very few people have heard about this because of course Saudi Arabians don’t make movies about their past (or current) crimes.
The truth of colonialism is that the first Europeans in the New World were, quite literally, welcomed as liberators. The Aztecs treated weaker tribes so horrifyingly that these tribes joined forces with Spanish Conquistadors to keep the Aztecs from sacrificing their babies.
The Bantu invaded South Africa hundreds of years before the Dutch ever got there. Genghis Khan is not the father of half of Asia because he was so charming. The Māori wiped out the Moriori before the British conquered New Zealand.
King Kamehameha ''united'' the Hawaiian islands through violent conquest, then ritually sacrificed his opponents.
And returning back to Utah, the Ute Indians brutalized ''less fortunate'' tribes but still got a state named for them!
The move toward ''anti-racism'' (which is just racism) is leaving hordes of victims in its wake. German Chancellor Angela Merkel admits that mass migration has created ''no go'' zones in Germany. Rape gangs in Europe are getting away with whatever they want because law enforcement doesn’t want to be called racist. And yes, South Africa is completely on fire.
The history of America is not one of the unrelenting evil with which its enemies want to brainwash its next generation; the history of America is that of the modern value system being built. Racism has been the norm on the planet forever; Americans invented the idea that racism is bad. Americans were fighting slavery before there was even America!
America is both the most powerful and most benevolent empire in human history. ''Fundamentally transforming'' America threatens the stability of the planet and the welfare of billions of lives. When Rome fell, it plunged Western Europe into 1,000 years of darkness; the same could happen if woke cultists are successful in collapsing America.
So while it’s true that President Franklin D. Roosevelt interred Japanese Americans, he also saved 1 billion Asian Americans from slavery, rape, and watching their babies bayonetted. If America falls, there will be no one to come to the rescue when the Chinese Communist Party decides it’s their turn now.
America does not have the freedom to be anything less than America or there will be chaos and misery everywhere.
The devil can cite scripture for his own evil purposes. The devil also hath power to assume a pleasing shape; but with CRT he has chosen an extremely ugly one. It and the cultists of its false religion should be easy to reject. Many states have done so already and, while Utah has an embarrassingly liberal governor right now, Utah will probably choose the right course on this one.
