America’s Founding Fathers put into effect the framework of our Republic — the Constitution. No other nation has such a living document, not even England.
The Constitution is the basis of the United States of America’s existence.
The federal government's right to control immigration is set forth in our Constitution.
Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution decalres that the U.S. Congress has the authority "to establish a uniform Rule of Naturalization."
This framework grants Congress the power and right to enact immigration law. The president enacts that law. The judiciary interprets it.
A foreign national entering the U.S. without proper inspection for a first time is subject to a monetary fine or 6 months in prison — or both. (8 U.S.C. section 1325/INA section 275)'
Persons entering the country absent inspections by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) authorities are illegal immigrants — and violators of the law.
America faces an annual crisis — a single mass migration of foreign nationals moving through Mexico, headed for the Mexico-U.S. border seeking entry into the U.S. without inspections or the proper papers. This surge (also known as the "caravan") was created during the administration of former President Barack Obama. It's made up of mostly Central Americans surging through Mexico to illegally enter the U.S., however the surge could contain persons seeking to do harm to the country and its citizens.
Without inspections who knows?
President Obama has had no problem with this surge of foreign nationals entering the U.S. without inspection and his administration made concessions for those in the caravan to enter the country.
Thus, our republic was on its way to be reduced to a third world entity — the U.S. is not exceptional, as Obama declared during talks overseas.
President Trump does believe America is exceptional and wants to protect its citizens.
This 2018 caravan and former caravans of foreign nationals will demand legal entry into America as asylum-seekers. If they are not accepted as asylum-seekers, they will demand acceptance as refugees.
As the 2018 version of the caravan walked through Mexico, the Mexican government did something to dissuade the caravan of people, probably at the behest of the Trump administration. According to a March 9, 2018 CNN video report, the majority of caravan members will still seek U.S. entry — as asylum seekers.
Our nation suffers internal strife and angst caused by globalist radical Democrats funded by the likes of George Soros, and supported by leftists of the news media and academia.
The caravan is representative of the many external insidious forces encouraged those same persons causing internal strife.
Whether internal or external strife (or both) the main purpose of the action is to reduce America to that of a third world entity, one controlled by the globalist oligarchs.
Special interest groups pushing for unrestricted immigration were able to sway Congress to pass the 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA). President Reagan signed the bill into law. It did little to reform immigration chaos, and certainly did nothing to control illegal immigration.
IRCA’s main points were the border control lessening the number illegal border crossers, limitation of illegal visas overstays, employer sanctions for those hiring illegal aliens, and control of legal immigration. None of these reforms or controls worked.
For immigrant special interests, Congresses for decades made exception after exception, modification after modification, and amendment after amendment to gut both IRCA and the immigration law fountainhead, the 1952 Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).
The result has been decades of illegal alien border crossers and persons overstaying their visas. This phenomenon added millions (as much as 30 million illegal immigrants) who are now in our country. The oft-quoted number that there are only 11 million illegal immigrants present is a false number, one meant to mislead American citizens.
The 11 million number has been pronounced religiously by open-borders advocates, Democrats, the newsmedia, and globalists for over 10 years.
Certainly, in this length of time, the 11 million number had to change up or down.
Embolden and supported by the Democrats, academia, greed-oriented social network billionaires/millionaires and other radicals, illegal aliens — caravan members — are again demanding entry into America. Each supporting group of the caravan advocates open borders. They have their own agenda, and its not the country's wellbeing.
The problem is not immigration. In the history of the world, the America is the only country established and populated by immigrants committed to assimilation. Existing U.S. laws provide for orderly immigration. Nearly a million foreign nationals enter the U.S. yearly. Immigration is not the problem — illegal entry is the problem.
American citizens are wondering who organized this and other caravans.
They also want to know who pays for a caravan's food, lodgings, and medical needs.
