Abdominal gas can be embarrassing, especially in social situations. Abdominal gas is common, with the average adult producing one to four pints of gas and passing gas around 14 times per day.
People experience gas with a feeling of bloated abdominal area, stomachache, and abdominal pain. Passing a small amount of gas is normal, but if excessive gas is passed or is accompanied with severe abdominal pain or stomachache, it needs medical attention.    
How to Get Rid of Abdominal Gas?
Natural remedies can help you get rid of gas, stomachache, and excessive pain. These home remedies have no serious side effects, but consult your doctor if there is excessive pain.
Ginger is a helpful remedy to get rid of gas. Tea prepared from ginger root is beneficial. Add honey and lemon in this tea to improve taste. Eating a teaspoon of grated ginger daily before meals is a useful remedy.
Chamomile is an effective herb that helps get rid of indigestion and soothes stomachache. Tea using chamomile tea bags can help flatulence. Add honey or lemon juice for improved taste. Chamomile has anti-inflammatory properties that help get rid of inflammation.
Drinking one glass of warm lemon water in the morning helps to get rid of stomachache and abdominal pain arising due to gas.
Peppermint is a useful remedy that helps to get rid of stomachache. Peppermint tea bags can be used to prepare herbal tea. Drinking a cup of this herbal tea after dinner is beneficial for a bloated stomach.
Chew food properly. Stomachache and abdominal pain can be caused if the food is not chewed properly. Gulping down food creates problems in digestion. Hence, it is important to chew food properly so that it is digested easily in the stomach.

Exercise can help you get rid of indigestion, abdominal pain, and stomachache. It also prevents a bloated abdomen. Even a 10-minute walk after meals can be useful. Light exercise and yoga can be beneficial for a patient suffering from a bloated abdomen.
