Bad Breath: Effective Natural Treatments and Home Remedies for Halitosis

Bad breath, medically known as halitosis, has been affecting mankind for ages. People have been searching for an effective treatment of this problem. Usually, people with halitosis are unaware of their bad breath until a friend or family member tells them about it. Many causative factors for bad breath have been recognized.
In most cases, food particles trapped between the teeth are what causes bad breath. Plaque formation over the teeth harbors bacteria responsible for halitosis. Dental caries or gingivitis (swelling of gums) can also be a cause of bad breath. Proper treatment of dental disorders by a specialist dentist is essential to cure bad breath. Clove also cures bad breath naturally. A well-known halitosis remedy, parsley, also cures bad breath. Cardamom, another natural remedy for cure of bad breath, is chewed after meals to fight the smell and germs.
