Coping With Stress

Erika Schwartz, M.D By Friday, 03 August 2018 01:40 PM EDT Current | Bio | Archive

Somehow, the older we get, the more stress comes into our lives. It could be that we can no longer deal with it as well as when we were younger because our hormones have left and we have less reserve.

I also believe we tend to pay less attention to ourselves, while focusing on other people and trying to multitask to manage the daily turmoil of our lives.

So STOP!

Take time out and evaluate your life. Prioritize and put on the front burner only the two or three things that really matter.

The rest can go to the back burner or off the stove altogether.

The longer you live, the longer you will live, so make every second count. Get rid of negative energy. Eliminate toxic relationships.

You are better off alone than stressed in a bad and stale marriage or toxic relationship.

Do not abuse and do not take abuse. Be kind and keep a positive attitude. Allow only love in your life, and that will eliminate stress very quickly.
