When we sleep, our system gets repaired, our cortisol levels drop, and our adrenals are replenished along with all the other hormones keeping us healthy.
If you don’t sleep, you diminish the effectiveness of your immune system.
Get seven to eight hours of sleep a night. Sleep in a bed with clean sheets and blankets, wear sleepwear that is loose and comfortable, remove all electronics and TV from your room, and, while keeping the room cool (around 65 degrees), make sure it is dark so you get plenty of REM sleep.
