Using synthetic, nonhuman-identical hormones like Premarin usually makes your period come back.

If you use bioidentical hormones in creams and in the proper balance of estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone, chances are your periods will eventually stop.

Make sure your doctor checks the thickness of your endometrium with an annual ultrasound and that you feel great with the regimen of hormones you are on. Otherwise, change your regimen to bioidentical hormones in cream form.
