Breast cancer is a serious illness. I worry for the future of all women. The underlying cause of breast cancer will only be determined when the powers that be — such as the American Cancer Society and the Susan G. Komen Foundation — stop funneling money toward diagnosis and treatment and start searching for the source of this epidemic.
Unfortunately, the cancer medical industrial complex wants to maintain business as usual. Until this situation changes, I advise donating your hard-earned money to other charities.
I think breast cancer is caused by a combination of environmental xenoestrogens — which mimic the hormone estrogen — and iodine deficiency. Iodine’s main job in the body is to maintain a normal architecture of the glandular tissues, including the breast, thyroid, ovaries, uterus, and prostate.
In a state of iodine deficiency, glandular tissue becomes cystic. If deficiency continues, the cysts become hard and nodular; then hyperplasia occurs, and eventually cancer develops.
What is the solution? Maintain optimal iodine intake and clean up the environment. You also can help yourself by eating organic food and avoiding xenoestrogens, which are found in pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, and plastic items.
More information about iodine and breast cancer can be found in my book, Iodine: Why You Need It, Why You Can’t Live Without It.
