Lovers of grilled cheese sandwiches have more sex, a new survey suggested this week.

The survey was conducted by the dating website Skout, and measured responses from roughly 4,600 people.

The survey found that 73 percent of self-described grilled cheese lovers also reported that they have sex at least once a month. Trailing by ten points, the survey found that only 63 percent people who don't like grilled cheeses report having sex as often.

Reinforcing those points, the survey found further that 32 percent of grilled cheese lovers have sex at least six times a month, compared to just 27 percent of non-grilled cheese lovers.

Those who love grilled cheese and love to make love also reported in higher numbers that they love to travel.

Elsewhere in the survey, Skout asked their subjects to weigh in on how they like their grilled cheese prepared.

The patriotic respondents favored American cheese the most, followed by cheddar, mozzarella, Swiss, provolone, and brie.

The survey was released this week to celebrate National Grilled Cheese Day on April 12.
