Congratulations, Scottsdale residents: A new national ranking suggests you are the nation’s fittest, most active city dwellers. But Loredo, Texas: Y’all have some work to do, with the new ranking putting you last on the list of fit and active cities.

The new rankings — by the Website WalletHub.com — are based on a variety of fitness-related statistics, including the average monthly health club member fee, the number of swimming pools per capita, and acreages of parklands that allow joggers and hikers to work out in the great outdoors.

With federal health statistics showing the level of inactivity among Americans aged 6 and older increasing from 27.6 percent to 28.3 percent in the past year, WalletHub released its 2016’s Best & Worst Cities for an Active Lifestyle. The report ranks the nation’s 100 most populated cities on 24 key measures of health, fitness, and active lifestyles. The analysis found:

10 Most Active Cities:
1.    Scottsdale.
2.    Orlando.
3.    Tampa.
4.    Cincinnati.
5.    Pittsburgh.
6.    Minneapolis.
7.    Tucson.
8.    Boise.

8.    Jersey City.
