When did the United States of America become a country led by pseudo-scientists and phony rage-peddlers?

When did tumid bureaucrats decide that they could modify the Hippocratic Oath on their own in one fell swoop?

This happened when the most failed politicians in America decided that instead of saving lives by fighting criminals, they could scapegoat all law abiding citizens making medical decisions based on what their doctors advise them instead of blindly following a narrative peddled by these same failed politicians.

To be clear, COVID-19 vaccines have saved many lives globally.

Yet, the undisputable truth is also that not everyone can or should take a COVID vaccine.

The health and well-being of these individuals should not be discarded because they disrupt a cute sounding slogan like "Let’s all get vaccinated."

The real goal and slogan should sound something like "Let’s Make Sure That We Are All Safe From COVID Without Needlessly Sacrificing The Lives Of Others As If We’re Some Cult."

Welcome to the cult-like world of vaccine mandates.

In New York City this week, thousands of teachers and healthcare workers were fired for refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine. Oddly enough, some of their replacements won’t have to be vaccinated until the end of June 2022.

Not only can you not work for the Department of Education in New York City if you are unvaccinated, but you can’t genuinely participate in daily life either.

Mayor Bill de Blasio (who has presided over a historic increase in violent crime) has come up with a bizarre vaccine mandate for the entire City of New York but one that does not apply to out of town performers. "Key To NYC" requires almost all New Yorkers to have received a COVID vaccination in order to work in a restaurant, eat in a restaurant, go to a gym, theater or other indoor entertainment/performance venue.

This same "mandate" makes exceptions for out of town athletes or repairmen.

If these mandates are really focused on fighting the pandemic, does fixing that Starbucks air conditioning really justify risking the lives of all of its customers from some potentially unvaccinated repairman?

You can also use the bathroom in the same Starcbucks whether you’re vaccinated or not, but don’t even think of trying to get coffee there!

We’ve gone from "following the science" to being compelled to venerate and obey the absurd just to participate in society. Following the science means that we take seriously an incredibly comprehensive study out of Israel that shows those who have recovered from COVID-19 have far greater immunity and less risk of hospitalization from the delta variant of the virus than someone receiving two doses of a vaccine.

We should also accept and plan for the fact that an alarming number of new cases and hospitalizations arise from those already vaccinated. Studies also show that those who recovered from COVID are at a higher risk from strong side effects after taking a COVID vaccine.

This is all obviously very complicated for those without medical degrees. And that's why we should be consulting our doctors and not virtue signaling politicians when deciding whether to take the COVID vaccine.

Jessica Berg Wilson was a 37 old wife and mother from Seattle, Washington.

A successful human resources executive who loved her husband and her family, she adored her two young daughters ages five and three.

Jessica was an incredible person beloved for not only helping her friends but charities helping families. Jessica was in excellent health and the classic example of a wonderful wife, mother, boss, friend.

While Jessica had strong reserevations about taking a COVID vaccine, she finally succumbed to taking the vaccine because of the pressure from her employer.

On Sept. 7, 2021 Jessica died from COVID-19 Vaccine-Induced Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia (VITT).

The obvious truth is that Jessica died as a sacrifice to the insanely irresponsible dictates based on the capricious, facile diktats of bureaucrats more akin to health policy derived from mad scientists than respected physicians.

As her own obituary states, "[The vaccine mandate] cost Jessica her life. It cost her children the loving embrace of their caring mother. And it cost her husband the sacred love of his devoted wife. It cost God's Kingdom on earth a very special soul who was just making her love felt in the hearts of so many." 

The long cherished medical principal of "do no harm" has been replaced by government technocrats proclaiming that everyone must do exactly as they say or their life will be permanently disconnected.

Not only will their non-compliance will be publicly castigated but they will be marked as "impure" and a perfect illustration of all that is wrong with our society.

Jessica Berg Wilson never should have died from taking an injection she didn’t need and didn’t want.

Everyone who is serious about ending the pandemic must rise up and reject the pseudo-science one size fits all social matra-driven edicts that harm and divide our nation.

It's time to really follow the actual science — the medical science.
