U.S. municipal bond funds had $5.75 billion in net withdrawals in the week ended Jan. 19, according to estimates by the Investment Company Institute.

Taxable-bond funds attracted $3.58 billion and domestic stock funds drew $2.97 billion in deposits, the ICI said today in a statement from Washington. U.S. fund customers added $1.65 billion to equity funds that invest outside the country.
