In a single day last week, two major deals that will generate billions of dollars were signed through the Trump administration, but with impeachment being the main focus, there were "crickets" in the media over the achievements, Peter Navarro, the director of the White House Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy, said Tuesday.

"In a single day, in New York, President [Donald] Trump signed a historic trade deal with Japan," Navarro told Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo. "Across the pond in Switzerland, I led a White House delegation. We were able to get the most sweeping reform of an international organization in our history."

Trump signed the Japan trade deal last week while in New York City for the United Nations General Assembly, and at the same time, his team negotiated a reform of the Universal Postal Union in Geneva, Switzerland.

But instead, the news is centered around the "second impeachment circus in three years," said Navarro.

"Make no mistake about this, this is nothing but an attempted coup d'etat and an attempted end-run around the ballot box," said Navarro. "I see all the polls out there ... maybe Fox can do a poll on this. Should the impeachment process be used to depose a duly-elected president when they cannot beat them at the ballot box."

He added that it is a "very dangerous game" that the Democrats are playing, but meanwhile, Trump must deal with China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, and more."

Meanwhile, the next 30 days will be vital for the U.S.-Mexico-Canada agreement, a measure vital for the global economy and the United States, said Navarro.

The administration will also be involved in negotiations with China this month, but the USMCA is more vital, as it means "five times more exports to Mexico and Canada than we export to China," said Navarro. "The problem with China, they sell us a bunch of stuff, they create their jobs but we don't sell them a lot of stuff."
