It's Time for a New US Navy Seal Commander

Gallagher was arrested on September 11, 2018, and thrown into solitary confinement and pretrial detention, charged with war crimes — premeditated murder, shooting innocent civilians, obstruction and witness tampering, and taking a photo with a dead detainee terrorist.

The zeal with which naval prosecutors pursued their investigation could not be more evident than when NCIS agents dressed in black swat gear and armed with M-4 sub machine guns with laser sights stormed Gallagher’s residence, knowing he was already in custody, drug his children, including eight-year-old son out into the street in their underwear at gunpoint.

The subsequent two-and-a-half-week trial resulted in Gallagher’s acquittal of every serious offense, revealed stunning admissions by the government’s own witnesses — that Gallagher’s pretrial detention, which the government justified by asserting Gallagher had threatened a witness’s life, was a lie. There were no death threats. That NCIS investigators failed to conduct a real and thorough investigation, so much so that they failed to ask one of their star witnesses how the detainee terrorist wound up dead, when in fact that star witness later admitted on the stand that he in fact killed the terrorist and not Gallagher.

Witnesses were coached, and extorted false testimony was used against Gallagher in an attempt to put him in prison until the day he died. Knowing their case was a farce and fraud, Navy prosecutors had no choice but to cheat, lie, and deceive the court. They even went so far as to illegally eavesdrop on the defense team by placing a tracking beacon on their emails. The Navy judge in the case concluded that they had violated Gallagher’s 4th, 5th, and 6^th Constitutional amendment rights.

In the end, Gallagher was acquitted of all charges with the exception of taking a photo with dead detainee terrorist, along with ten other service members, including Gallagher’s lieutenant superior.

Throughout this ordeal, President Donald J. Trump intervened to get Gallagher out of pretrial detention to have access to his legal team. When the trial concluded with an acquittal, the rogue prosecutors that had engaged in unethical and criminal conduct were awarded Navy Achievement Medal’s by their command. Again, the president intervened to reverse that decision.

Ignoring the fact that Gallagher had also already been reduced in rank, had lost a coveted teaching assignment, and had been denied a silver star award, Admiral Green, the man that started it all, wanted Gallagher completely annihilated, and demoted him in rank, and once again the president stepped in to restore Gallagher’s rank to Chief Petty Officer.

Three days after the president made that decision, Admiral Greene with what appears to be the support of Secretary Spencer, ordered Gallagher to go before a Trident Review Board — in other words, the Admiral intended to remove Gallagher from the United States Navy SEALS, just ten days before his retirement, for being in the photo with the dead terrorist, for which not one of the other soldiers in that photo were ever charged or reprimanded.

Why Spencer allowed Admiral Green and his sub commanders to target, harass, torture, and do everything in their power to destroy a 20-year, highly decorated, and heroic U.S. Navy SEAL, is not known, but it is crystal clear… Spencer should not be the only one removed from power.

What happened to Gallagher, according to many in the SEAL community is nothing new, but what’s different about this case, is that Gallagher fought back, and his legal team exposed the Navy’s corruption at every level from Admiral Collin Green on down, whose conduct and behavior was so repugnant that it defies description.

If the Navy wants to inspire and motivate their greatest warriors, and recruit outsiders to join the SEALS, they need a leadership that supports the sailors under their command, not egotistical maniacs hell bent on destroying their warfighters just because they can.

Admiral Green and the sub-commanders that he used to attack and influence Gallagher’s superiors against him, should be fired. Fired for abuse of authority, misconduct in office, insubordination, and most importantly, allowing Navy investigators and prosecutors to engage in unethical and criminal conduct to target Chief Gallagher, and his family and colleagues.

There is no greater threat to our Republic than a government that abuses its power and violates the law to target its own citizen in order to deprive them or their God given rights to freedom and liberty, and that is exactly what Green has done.

It’s time for a new SEAL commander, and a message to those in line for the job! Shape up or ship out, or as President Trump said, “Get back to business.” That business is war fighting… and not targeting our own to put another star on your shoulder!

God bless Chief Eddie Gallagher and those like him who have sacrificed so much for our country, and God bless our President Trump for his leadership and courage in stopping one of the most substantial travesties of justice in U.S. Navy’s history.
