Romney Super PAC Unleashes Ad Blasting Obama on Jobs

Restore Our Future, the super PAC backing Republican presidential nominee , has launched a new television ad for Wisconsin and Michigan, attacking President over jobs.

The ad campaign, which will cost $2.2 million, hits the airwaves tomorrow, according to Politico.

“Millions of Americans are disappearing from the workforce because they can’t find jobs. The overall unemployment rate doesn’t even count them anymore,” the ad’s narrator states. Unemployment officially stood at 8.1 percent in August.

But, “8 million Americans have dropped out of the workforce since Obama became president,” the narrator notes. “Counting people who dropped out or can’t find full-time jobs, the real unemployment rate is nearly 19 percent.”

The ad then shows a clip of a CBS News commentator saying, “This is the worst economic recovery America has ever had.”

The narrator concludes: “looking forward to a second Obama term?”

Placement of the ad in Michigan raised eyebrows. Even though it’s Romney’s original home state, Obama has an average lead of 6.2 percentage points in the last four polls compiled by Real Clear Politics. In Wisconsin, the last three polls show him with an average lead of only 2.7 points.
